Sprague Energy and Sunoco Logistics Partners LP (SXL) yesterday announced the official opening of what they’re billing as “the newest and most expansive” biodiesel/Bioheat supply and loading terminal in New Jersey.
Sprague will supply biodiesel and Bioheat at the Sunoco Logistics Newark terminal, making it the first barge/pipeline-accessible terminal in the state to provide the two fuels. Bioheat is a trademark of the National Biodiesel Board.

Morning Heating Oil Market Report 6/27/2011

August heating oil prices came under pressure during the initial morning hours and slipped down to their 200-day moving average. This pushed prices down to their lowest level since February 8th. The Commitments of Traders Futures and Options report as of June 21st showed non-commercial traders were net long 25,258 contracts, a decrease of 10,642. Non-commercial and nonreportable traders combined held a net long position of 37,607 contracts, a decrease of 12,432 during the week.
